Rain

Well we got lots of rain last night. As a matter of fact it was raining very hard when we came out of the Sam's Club. We ended up waiting about 1/2 hour for it to stop poting before going to the car.

It has been so hot and dry that we are getting cracks in the ground

This is a picture of the run that we put on to the barn from the inside pen. Also shown is the net fence which costs a pretty penny. When I was attaching the charger in the barn the dogs were looking at me with the Oh, NO Alpha Female You Are NOT Turning on The Bite Me Charger. Ugh. HeHE

The Heat of Summer

It has been a while since I have lasted blogged. I just do not have much going one. It has been so HOT!!!!! here. I can hardly stand it. Well hopefully it will be a little cooler this weekend. I have worked every day since the 5th of July and could use the time to get things done.

The turkey have gotten huge as big volkswagens. I will have to make a trip soon to the processor. I do not look forward to a 3 hur drive with three golbers in back of the van.

The chickens that are left are doing very well but the yolks have gotten very pale because they have been only inside the barn since the racoon attack. This weekend I should be able to make a run
