Back to the basics: Tickler File

Worked on a tickler file this evening to have a better reminder system and method to have the documents available at a particular date in the future when I need them. I am planning to use this with my day timer.
This system was developed a long time ago so it is really nothing new. It just sometimes simple ideas are the best. Below are two sites that explain the system.

I am a list freak I will admit. I found I can get more done by doing lists so I put together a list using excel for an idea I got from another website. I just do not have a house but also a barn and a a small garden shed and seven acres. I have already added the barn and property chores but later may create another list just for them. Then I think I will make a shopping list.
