Urban Cactus

I received an email with pictures of this apartment so I did some investigation to find where this structure is located. I founf the pictures and some imformaton a BoingBoing.I found out it is Potterdam's Urban Cactus Housing Project(UCX Architects). They used huge terraces staggered to make huge, sunny spaces. Very nice design for the outside. They are double height units so they are able to get twice as much sunlight as normal units.
