Albuquerque Indian School in 1885, Relocated from Duranes to Albuquerque in 1881.This is tragic history that both the United States and Canada created from around 1831 to the 1990's. The governments thought that removing children from their villages to residential Schools served the children's interest. This only brought on the lost of knowledge of their culture and languages.
