Crocus

I mainly plant these in ceramic pots that are make for forcing bulbs. Every once in a while I look for the Delft pots in second hand or antique stores. You usually can pick these up very inexpensive for a few dollars each. These pots have around six holes in the side so when you plant the bulbs in pot you pant a bulb near each hole and a few on top

Crocus are small grass looking plants and it has flowers with cup like petals. It you plant them outside they look at their best in mass plantings, in rock gardens, and between stepping stones . Set 2 to 3 inches deeps and divide every two to three years.
